A coffee house and micro-roastery in Pittsburgh's Mount Oliver, offering breakfast and lunch. Owner James and chef Tevin serve bistro-style dishes to create delicious, memorable experiences.

COFFEE ROASTING

We slow-roast our single-origin coffee beans in small batches, using a fluid-bed roaster for precision processing, optimal heat distribution, & temperature control. Our baristi artfully master the coarseness, brewing temperature, flow, & pressure profiles to optimize every extraction. The delicious premium coffee & espresso drinks we create, fill the space with a pleasant aroma.

EXPERIENCE

Both, our culinary offerings & interior design blend the traditional with the modern. The coffee house showcases the craftsmanship of the EcHT design-build shops in our building. The cabinetry, shelving, furniture, light fixtures, stairs, railings, windows & kitchen islands are created in-house by EcHT craftsmen, They demonstrate our love of authentic, genuine & substantinal solutions in all what we do - the meaning of the word "echt".

FOOD

James, Tevin, & the team deliver contemporary bistro-style small plates, desserts, & elevated comfort food for you to experience. Inspired by our travels in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, & America, we conjure international & local experiences through our diverse culinary offerings.

ECHT LIQUOR LAB & TASTING ROOM

Heading down the spiral staircase to the lower level, you will find the tasting room & liquor lab. We currently prepare for offering hand-crafted liquor & cocktails. If you stop by at the right moment, you can view the distilling process.
